Tastefully renovated and refurbished 3 bedroom house in the Andalusian countryside but with modern comfort, 15 mins from the beach in Castell De Ferro. Inside, we're first greeted by a light and airy bespoke kitchen, and smaller dining area, all made from natural strong materials in a simplistic and open style. Through an archway there's a spacious living room with a new pellet stove, and an office area. Further in we find a laundry room, storage and bathroom. Up the stairs with their beautiful original wooden hand rails and wall dividers, we arrive at a landing with a wooden floor and a window above, letting lots of light in. The upper floor has three spacious bedrooms and one bathroom with a bathtub in which you can lie down to look at the trees and hills through the window. The house keeps warm in the winter, and cool in the summer thanks to the excellent insulation provided by the very thick traditional walls. The house is one out of four houses in the same building. Phone and wifi coverage is good. Water comes from a well and pump, shared with the neighbours. There's also a community shared message group which can be very helpful, especially if you're away. The beach In Castell de Ferro is 7 km away, just under 15 minutes by car, and there we also find big supermarkets, restaurants and the nearest health centre open 24/7, while the nearest hospital is in Motríl about 30 minutes away. To the north we have Granada capital, and the Sierra Nevada with some of Europe's best ski slopes, all about an hour away. The nearest airport is to the east in Almería just over 1 hour away, or to the west in Málaga, around an 1h and 15 mins away.
